I'm going to vote for our new team member Bugotot for funnest shop name we've had in a while. Betty from Ohio named her shop after her three boys' nicknames "bug", "owie" and "tiny tot". She is a stay-at-mom mom with the full time job of raising those boys. Her new etsy shop provides a way to add some income to her family and let her creative juices flow.

TM Glint Gear Bags it for Lipton Tea

TM Glint Gear has been battling a few health problems (thankfully not what they feared and full recovery!), which can be awfully worrisome BUT a BIG OLD HONKIN' Ray of SUNSHINE hit her this week.

"... something VERY cool has happened! I was found on Etsy by Ogilvy PR in NYC (they are HUGE), and asked to create a large pyramid bag as a shopping bag/gift bag prototype for a presentation they are making to Lipton Tea this coming Monday for a an idea they have for Lipton's Pyramid tea bags! SO freaking cool! I think she searched for pyramids on Etsy, and mine caught her eye! Of course, we settled on the price just yesterday (which is hefty) and they need it in-house Friday or Saturday, but this is an amazing opportunity! And they agreed to let me list it on Etsy and will pay via the site before I ship it. (and the money will help with the house down payment.) It's going to be more complicated than a regular pyramid pouch because they want it out of net or organza with stabilized sides and bottom. I have 2 days to figure it out! But what a fun challenge and amazing opportunity! If they like the idea, they may mass produce it.

Hey everyone. thanks for the support! was up until 3:30 am last night finishing it, taking photos etc. and had to be at work at 8am! but gotta love the excitement! Ogilvy loved it! they paid and it's on it's way overnight FedEx to the account manager's apt in NYC for the meeting Monday at 3pm! I'll keep you posted as to what Lipton says!"

TM Venezie Bags is hanging out at the Craft Handmade Virtual Craft Show this week. A booth is only $7 for two weeks until the end of June, so this might be an avenue worth looking into.
